Normally purchased made via XBOX live work on your XBOX whether or not you are signed into XBOX live or the profile your purchased the content with. If your XBOX 360 gets the RROD (and chances are it will), any content you’ve purchased via XBOX live won’t work unless you are logged into XBOX live and only for the profile that purchased it.
